Pelvic & Transvaginal Ultrasound Examination

A pelvic/transvaginal ultrasound is an imaging test used to examine the female reproductive organs.
It helps visualize the uterus, ovaries, cervix, and surrounding pelvic structures using sound waves.
The transvaginal approach provides clearer, more detailed images by placing the probe inside the vagina.
It is commonly used to evaluate pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, infertility, and early pregnancy.

Endometrium

This is the inner, mucous membrane lining of the uterus, characterized by its rich blood supply and glandular tissue. The, endometrium undergoes cyclical changes in thickness and structure throughout the menstrual cycle in preparation for the potential embryo implantation. If pregnancy does not occur, the superficial layer of the endometrium is shed, resulting in menstruation. You will be able to view this structure in REAL-TIME.

 
Left ovary

Mirroring its counterpart on the opposite side, the left ovary also as almond shape and is essential for female reproduction. It shares the critical functions of producing and releasing mature eggs, alternating with the right ovary.
